CASE: How Karma rebuilt its business – and created AI clones that run their own meetings
When Karma went from 100 employees to just 18 during the pandemic, the company made a bold decision: to rebuild itself as an AI-first company. Within six months, the team had built an entirely new platform and reached profitability.
Today, Karma operates what it calls a “shadow government” of AI clones. Each clone mirrors a different role in the company, works toward the same goals, and has access to the same data as the team. They even hold meetings of their own.
Jiyan Duran, Chief Commercial Officer at Karma, shares how the company made the shift – and what it actually takes to build an AI-native organisation from the ground up.

Panel: When to evolve – and when to rethink everything
A conversation about AI transformation from two very different starting points – one company that rebuilt itself from the ground up, and another driving transformation from within a large, established organisation.
Panel: Radical transformation or business as usual – what’s the best way forward?
The climate crisis is escalating, while capital is increasingly being redirected towards defence and AI. Is it enough to optimise within existing systems, or is a more radical transformation needed?
