Jens Holzapfel

Jens Holzapfel is Business Director at Nordic Air Defence, a venture-capital-backed startup developing technologies to address the growing threat posed by drones.

Jens Holzapfel has nearly 20 years of experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces and other Swedish government agencies. During that time, he served as an expert and leader in Sweden and abroad, dealing with a range of the security threats Sweden has faced since the turn of the millennium. Jens has focused in particular on cyber and hybrid threats, as well as on emerging technologies and their impact on national security.

He left government service in 2022 to advise investment firms and startup companies in cybersecurity and defence technology.

Jens has broad experience in cybersecurity, protective security, defence innovation, defence business development, and investments and transactions in the cybersecurity and defence sectors.
