In the light of the current geo-political developments and the ongoing battle for planetary health, European industries face multiple challenges related to supply chain risk, resource availability, sustainability performance and long-term profitability.

The systemic shift to a more circular business logic is at the heart of the solution. As EU policy pushes steadily towards sustainable, long-lived products, circular materials, transparency and accountability, every organization needs to be on top of the implications for their business. This circle aims to build a deeper understanding of how to design and accelerate your organizations transformation journey and what capacities you need to build to win in the market.

We’ll focus on four key areas of circular business:

  • Pathways to circularity.
What R-strategies could be relevant for your business? What capabilities do you need to build? How could you build your roadmap and the foundations for your circular business case?
  • Circular Business Innovation.
Business eco-system strategies, validation of R-strategies and business models by prototyping and measurability.
  • Circular Product Strategy.
Circular product design for adaptability and long-life, product data and traceability, circular material choices.
  • Circular Production Logic.
From global to regional and local, circular product systems, Re-take, repair, remanufacturing and additive manufacturing strategies.

This circle is highly relevant for all producing companies, as well as service providers in future circular business eco-systems. It’s aimed for leaders of circularity within organizations, such as leading roles from the Business Development-, Sustainability or Product Development disciplines. We’d love to see teams of two or three from your organization representing these different perspectives.
