Physical AI for the industry: How can Sweden turn physical AI into real industrial competitiveness?
First circle-meeting is 24 June in Almedalen.
As AI moves from screens and software into machines, robots and industrial environments, a new frontier is opening for Swedish industry. The next wave of AI will not only generate, analyze and recommend. It will see, simulate, learn, move and act in the physical world.
This Circle brings startups, scale-ups and established industry leaders together to explore what happens when AI becomes embodied — and what it takes to turn intelligent systems into real industrial value.
The focus is not on AI as a general technology trend, but on its practical role in production, automation, maintenance, simulation, robotics and next-generation manufacturing. Together, participants will examine how Sweden can strengthen its position in the emerging field of Physical AI, where industrial know-how, advanced robotics, digital twins, machine learning and real-world operations converge.
We’ll focus on three key areas:
- From pilot to production
How can AI and robotics move beyond experiments and become trusted, scalable parts of industrial operations? - From simulation to real-world action
How can digital twins, synthetic data, sim-to-real methods and virtual training environments accelerate implementation and reduce risk? - From isolated solutions to industrial ecosystems
What kinds of partnerships, testbeds, data-sharing models and value chains are needed for startups and established industry to build together?
